Wang Guowei is a famous scholar specially on the aesthetics. He integrated western philosophy, western aesthetics and the Chinese ancient aesthetics into a unique aesthetic ideology. His achievements are not only limited to aesthetics, but also enjoy a deep attainments in literature, history, philosophy and so on. Wang Guowei also has done a lot of researches on national education thoutht, and he has developed his own unique national education thought. At the same time he also has a rich teaching experience, which is favorable to avoid being a armchair strategist. So, it is practicable to combine Wang Guowei’s national education thought with the present situation of high-school language teaching and introduce into the actual Chinese teaching. This article mainly discusses from the following four parts:The first part is an introduction. It mainly introduces significances of the research, reviews of the research, purposes of the research and methods of the research.The second part mainly studies Wang Guowei’s life, which is divided into two sections. The first section is an overview of Wang Guowei’s life to know him by from his growth and experience. Which also introduced his achievements on literature, history and philosophy, it proved that he is a talented person. The second section mainly introduces the pratice of education from two aspects:the first one is the activites of education, the second one is the problems he found in the teaching. Wang Guowei is not only a teacher,but also an educational researcher. If a teacher wants to give a student a bowl of water, he must have a bucket of water. Wang Guowei is not only has a bucket of water, but also he knows how to give a student a bowl of water. These can help us have a comprehensive understanding.The third part mainly analyzes the main content and features of national education thought of Wang Guowei. This part is divided into three. The first section describes Wang Guowei content of national education thought. The second section describes the background of the national education thought, that is, formative factors——the situation of China and education activites. The third section summarizes the characteristics of Wang Guowei’s national education thought.The fourth part discusses the enlightenment of Wang Guowei on high-school Chinese teaching:first, it shows the status quo of high-school Chinese teaching, and then put forward suggestions combined with Wang Guowei’s researches.
