Content: Wang Guowei(1877-1927)was a famous scholar in the Modern China. He can be said be of greatest achievement in literature, philosophy, philology and so on. With the facilities of newly excavated artifacts, he studied Jiagu ancient language, phonology and archeology, thus he formed specialized theory. These achievement earned him an international fame. Wang guowei's academic contributions demonstrate that he is one of the few giants in the history of Chinese scholarship of the twentieth century, and his study in education bears great influence on establishment of modern Chinese Capitalist Education System and development of educational though.In his early youth, Wang Guowei received studied the languages of English and Japanese, the philosophy and aesthetics of Schopenhauer, Kant and Schiller. He was the first to introduce ideas of above mentioned philosophers to Chinese people, which an aim at wakening Chinese intellentuals to look at life form a different perspective.Wang Guowei's educational views absorbed Chinese traditional culture, western theories' study and reform, epoch trend's participation and sublimation. The utilizer and bases of Chinese and Western culture provide a solid experiential and theoretic formulating of his theory. Wang's educational theory is not inane: theory of academic independence, pursuit of "Perfect Man" and the education framework of intelligence, morality, aesthetics and physical building-up, "Mutual Melting" of Chinese and Western culture and education. All these factors provide his idea with representation and illustration. Wang's educational theory also included his studying methodology. The methodology of Wang Guowei in academic studies is of lasting influence. More and more scholars pay attention to Wang's studying methodology,especially his method of Double Proof first, which is to compare the newly-excavated materials with the recorded event in the historical books to draw new conclusions.
