With the implementation of the new round of basic education curriculum reform in our country, the idea, goal and content of art curriculum are constantly updated.The new curriculum reform requests not only pay attention to the tendency of knowledge imparting, should pay attention to the students’ all-round development,fully reflect the three-dimensional goal, but Chinese painting copying courses is easy to be the so-called "traditional" skills taught courses. So under the background of new curriculum, how to teach junior middle school Chinese painting copying course,to achieve a better teaching effect, to be more conducive for student learning, to promote the comprehensive development of students.This research tries to solve the problem.In order to solve this problem, this article is divided into four parts to explore.The first part, Student questionnaire has been used to investigate the junior high school students study with Chinese painting course. Then, I interviews with several art teachers in order to understand the situation of teachers teaching.The second part,set the clear goal of the junior high school Chinese painting copying course according to the survey and the concept of "new curriculum" and requirements.And then, in order to achieve the teaching goal,from how to choose the copy template,how to organize the copying teaching activities,the way of students copying Chinese painting, evaluation of copying Teaching these four aspects to explore the corresponding teaching strategies.The third part, put the teaching objectives and strategies flexibly to junior high school Chinese copying teaching practice, to test its feasibility and effectiveness in practice.The fourth part, through the summary and reflection of the teaching practice process, teaching junior middle school Chinese paintings copying courses under the background of new curriculum should use the following implementation programs: At first the teachers should according to the actual situation of junior high school students to teach Chinese painting, choose suitable copy works of Chinese paintings for junior middle school students; The second is Junior middle school Chinese painting copying teaching activity should be enjoyable and inspiring; Third is the student can use variety of ways to copy Chinese painting; Fourth is could use the student self-assessment, peer assessment,teacher evaluation and exhibition evaluation to evaluate the Chinese painting copying teaching activities.
