With the growing popularity of folk culture, the popularity of folk play plays a very important role in its development, and folk play are extensive development in the activities of kindergarten, the study of folk play has been achieved more and more scholars attention, it has a great significance for the development of folk culture heritage and early childhood education, and the enrichment of children’s activities.In this paper, the method of content analysis and action research are used. From the view of theory, the rationality and scientific of Kindergarten folk play’s material and design are explored, and the corresponding resources or some suggestions are provided by the cooperation with A kindergarten in Changsha. At the end, the measurement of action research are taken to test, revamp and consummate the folk play. According to the content analysis, 100 children folk play assets are tested, based on qualitative and quantitative, SPSS statistical analysis software are used to analyzed, the recommendations are proposed as follows:1. The design of goal for the game should be reasonable and scientific, at the same time, the perceiving and acknowledgment of culture should be valued.2. The cultural function of games should be focused, and the educational function of the game should be strengthened.3. The content of the game should be varied and appropriated.4. The rules of the game should be setted, and it will be reasonable5. The preparation of the game should be reasonable, and the preparation should be consistent with the content of games.By the way to take the measure of action research to test, revamp and consummate the folk play, we get the conclusion as follows:1. In the design of game, we should take care of all childhood, at the same time, the individual should be focused.2. The role of the games should be orderly.3. The playing time should be enough to let the children enjoy the funny of the game sufficiently.4. The preparation should be sufficiently to enrich the children’s experience.According to the conclusion and analysis of the usage and selection of suitable material for kindergarten folk play, the suggestions are provided as follows:1. The scientific folk play should be selected to make sure of the game structure completely.2. The cognitive and identity of the folk culture for childhood should be strengthened.3. The teachers’ abilities and major attainment should be improved to facilitate the game proceed.4. The worth of the folk play should be divided to adapt the rules greatly.
