In 2003,the ministry of education promulgated The Ordinary High School Geography Curriculum Standard(experiment draft) to specifically case study as one of the basic modes of high school geography. Curriculum reform advocates the case teaching, case analysis and design is the precondition of implementing case teaching.But in the process of the geography classroom teaching, the teachers usually speak just case case, the analysis and design of the very few teachers will be carried out in case,did not reflect interaction and interactive teaching view. Teaching material is the most basic, the most fundamental teachers teaching resources, teaching cases in detail analysis and study of teaching material is the first step that teachers change the traditional teaching mode. In the high school geography teaching material of compulsory 2 schools are teaching, there is a special case, case teaching is a special case column setup, is present in the form of “case + activity”, the problems in the activity is aimed at the contents of the case, is a necessary complement to the body of knowledge in the learning to the teaching material. How to realize the teaching materials of the case and case teaching further correspondence is the core content of this thesis research.Moreover geography teaching case is the center of the geographical case teaching.Therefore, this thesis is based on high school geography compulsory 2 in-depth analysis of the teaching material of geography teaching case and research is necessary.Paper is divided into six parts altogether:The first part of introduction mainly on the research topic research background,research significance, research status at home and abroad, research approach and the method to make a summary.The second part mainly expounds the related concepts of geography case teaching and case teaching theory basis.The third part of geographical compulsory 2 textbooks for high schools based on people, first analysis of the necessity of teaching case application, respectively from the curriculum reform background, the content of the teaching material analysis of two aspects; Secondly analyzes the teaching case application, the feasibility of the higher the students’ cognitive level and psychological characteristics analysis of two aspects.The fourth part of geography textbooks of compulsory 2 for high schools are teaching the present situation of the application of case investigation, analysis, including design and survey results analysis.The fifth part, through the analysis of the above findings, put forward geography compulsory 2 textbooks for high schools who recommended the application of case teaching, and according to the division of cases in the teaching material, teaching design for each type of case.The sixth part of this thesis research are summarized and future research prospects.In the research of this thesis is focused on through the investigation and results analysis of the present situation of the application of case teaching, to find out a line of geography teachers in the use of case teaching in the process of existing problems, and analysis reasons of these problems, put forward the corresponding application recommendations. Also hope that the discovery of these issues and Suggestions put forward for teachers in the teaching case design, classroom teaching case implementation to provide effective help.
