Under the background of new curriculum reform, change the traditional teaching methods and teaching means in teaching is a very hot topic. In recent years, the education workers and experts in changing the traditional classroom teaching mode and made great efforts to improve the efficiency of geography classroom, has obtained certain achievements, especially in geography teaching by applying the method of the game. This paper in the junior high school geography teaching, game method has not been widely available, more than half of teachers still adopt the traditional teaching form, namely the control class, by the "teachers’ teaching, students learning" teaching form, and because of poor teaching facilities, the popularity of the game method has certain difficulty this present situation, Junior high school geography teaching game design, case teaching practice and reflection. Finally, through the sum up, the conclusion and further deepen the outlook.Geography teaching game is in the game theory, under the guidance of teachers according to the law of development and characteristics of students, through various forms to make the students study geographical knowledge, including design, scene setting, teaching tool selection, etc., is trying to achieve harmony with the geography teaching of game, stimulate students interest in learning, teaching strategies and methods of the potential of students into full play. Paper in the second chapter mainly elaborates the connotation, function and classification of geographical game teaching and through the questionnaire, the junior high school geography teachers and students in investigation and study, it is concluded that the junior high school geography of game teaching present situation and existing problems. The third chapter focuses on the result of questionnaire survey, junior high school geography teaching game design principle is put forward, according to the principle of strategy put forward the corresponding teaching design. The fourth chapter develop games in junior high school geography teaching design, on the basis of emphasizes the junior high school geography teaching game case practice and reflection. Through the investigation and study, we learn from the students enhance and improve the achievement of the two aspects of geographical interest for validation. Summarized, the game method application in the junior middle school geography teaching is effective. Therefore, the author suggested should increase the game method in middle school geography teaching.
