| The Geography Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education(2011edition)clearly points out that "local geography is a must-learn content ",so the design of local geography teaching cases can be provided to front-line teachers as a reference to help students understand their hometown and enhance their feelings of loving their hometown.As a powerful geographic information technology,GIS is widely used in geography teaching in middle school at present,and becomes a favorable tool to assist teachers in teaching,which can enrich curriculum resources and teaching methods and stimulate students' interest in learning.Hence,it is necessary to explore the problem of combining GIS with local geography in teaching.Taking Tongliao local geography as an example,this paper studies and analyzes five kinds of literature,such as periodical articles,geographic information technology academic monographs,pedagogy,psychology monographs,local geography literature,curriculum standard and charter,through the use of literature analysis,combs the domestic and foreign research status GIS assisting local geography teaching in recent years from the aspects of quantity and content.Case analysis is used to analyze 18 selected teaching cases,from which the strategy of teaching case design is summarized.Five teaching cases using GIS as auxiliary means for local geography teaching are calculated,and one teaching case designed by the author is implemented and reflected.The following conclusions are drawn: First,according to curriculum standards,local geography,GIS functions,the author selected two categories of 16 Tongliao junior high school local geography curriculum resources,and selected suitable GIS auxiliary teaching Tongliao local geography teaching topics: seven categories of 20;Second,designed five teaching cases based on BOPPPS,including teaching plans and study plans,the themes of Tongliaogeographical location and administrative division,Tongliao natural geographical environment,Tongliao population,Tongliao transportation,Tongliao city,Tongliao city planting;Third,by analyzing other people's case,design This paper summarizes and abstracts seven strategies GIS assist the case design of local geography teaching in junior high school,including:Choosing the case theme based on junior high school geography curriculum standard;Setting case teaching goal based on subject core accomplishment;Using regional geography learning method to study local geography curriculum;Optimizing and combining various GIS software to create teaching situation;Presenting local geography curriculum resources by GIS advantage;Using research-based learning method to plan extracurricular inquiry activities;Skillfully using GIS mapping function to arrange multi-level after-class homework. |
