Nowadays, reading is highly related with human’s life and the progress of society, it is one of the most important ways to acquire knowledge, ego-enhancement, and improve accomplishments. With the coming of information era, mathematics reading becomes more and more important. A good mathematics reading habit is not only good for students to read mathematics materials, but also can cultivate students’ interests in mathematics.On the other hand, it also can let students develop a positive mathematics belief. Junior high school is a critical period for students to form a good mathematics reading habit. So, when we have learned junior students’ mathematics reading habits, it is very meaningful to give them a guidance combined with their own physical and mental characteristics and academic content.Now, research of junior high school students’ mathematics reading habit is relatively rare,and most of these researches are pay more attention to importance and training strategy. This article is based on former studies, the major theme of this article is to learn exist problems and current situation of the junior students’ mathematics reading. It has five parts, follows as:Part 1:raise questions. Mainly expressed research background and research significance,introduced research status at domestic and overseas, described the research ways and the theme of the article.Part 2:Theoretical analysis of mathematics reading habits. Mainly use literature summarizing, checked lots of mathematics reading materials, defined some concepts about mathematics reading and mathematics reading habits.Part 3: The survey and analysis of junior high school students’ mathematics reading habits.First of all, find the general characteristics of the junior high school students’ mathematics reading habits through questionnaire, then make a interview, summarize the deeper reason of forming good or bad mathematics reading habits.Part 4:The training strategy to form good junior high school students’ mathematics reading habits. According to the result of survey, put forward a targeted training strategy.Part 5:Conclusion. Review the article’s research conclusion comprehensively, point out the shortcomings.
