The founding and development of ethnic minority preparatory course education reflects the great importance the party and state attach on national education, which also helps improve the overall development and progress of the higher education and national education of our country. College students of ethnic minority constitute the majority of human resources in the ethnic minority areas, but current training and development for them can hardly meet the demand of the building and development of those areas. However, the preparatory course education can alleviate such demand for high-quality talents. As a result of different growing environment, cultural background, internet culture and educational philosophy, ethnic minority preparatory course education students have various ideological states. In this circumstance, it becomes an important task in the ethnic minority preparatory course education to find ways to strengthen ideological and political education for them. In higher education colleges and universities in our country, strengthen ideological and political education is the top priority of the work of higher education, which ensures the smooth other teaching and research activities, the same is true for the preparatory stages of education. From what I have been working since the beginning of the founding of the party is my party’s fine tradition and political advantage, so on Minority Students strengthen ideological and political education has far-reaching significance. Under the new historical conditions, we must enhance the highly ideological, a clear understanding of the social construction of ethnic minority areas and their development process requires educators to strengthen ideological and political education of minority students in preparatory.As an indispensable force in the economic and social building for ethnic minority areas, the ideological quality of those students plays a crucial role. Improving the ideological and political education has influence on not only those students own personal growth, but also the maintenance of social development and stability in ethnic minority areas. This thesis focuses on the current status of the ideological and political education for ethnic minority preparatory course education students, existing problems, solutions and the influence of strengthening ideological and political education on those students themselves, with further elaborations on the importance of the education.
