Since the implementation of the "full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(2011 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as "standard"), the cultivation of geometric intuition has gradually been valued by more and more teachers. Mathematical ability is abstract, and with the help of geometric intuition, can make the complicated problem of mathematics becomes vivid and simple, it can help students find the problem solving problems; it is good for students to develop good habits of solving problems. With the intuitive features of the graphics, the geometry of the abstract mathematical language and the intuitive graphical language can be organically combined, which will inspire the students’ thinking, and promote the development of students’ mathematics thinking method. Geometric intuition can be a lot of abstract mathematical problems, can be turned into a geometric intuitive problem can borrow.Geometrical intuition can help students understand the essence of mathematics and promote the development of students’ thinking. Through graphics and symbolic language, the image can help students to make complicated abstract mathematical problems more concise and vivid. The related research shows that the geometrical intuition is not only beneficial to the students’ understanding of mathematics, but also to the improvement of students’ innovation consciousness, which has an important role in the whole mathematics teaching and learning. In primary school mathematics teaching, the cultivation of geometrical intuition can not only help to change the teaching idea and teaching methods, but also provide a reliable and effective method for students to analyze and solve problems. It is expected that this study can play a certain reference role in teaching methods and strategies in the teaching of mathematics in primary schools.Geometric intuition has become a concern of mathematics and mathematics education circles. It is a guarantee to cultivate students’ geometric intuition. It is the basis of thinking about the problem of mathematics and the combination of development. In the primary stage, the cultivation of the students’ mathematics learning process should be carried out in the whole mathematics learning process. This thesis is based on the "standard(2011)", which is the core concept of geometric intuition. Based on the primary school mathematics teachers’ cognitive status quo, based on the primary mathematics teaching in the teaching of geometric intuition, the paper is based on the training strategy of geometric intuition. On the basis of the questionnaire survey, this study is to understand the practical situation of students’ mathematics geometry intuition and primary school teachers’ understanding and use of all of the mathematics teachers’ understanding and application of the geometry. In view of these problems, combined with the actual situation of primary school mathematics teaching, this paper discusses the concrete measures to cultivate students’ geometric intuition in the teaching of mathematics in three areas of mathematics, graphics, geometry, probability and statistics. This thesis makes a preliminary investigation on the level of the students’ ability of geometry intuition in grade three to grade five. Due to the limited capacity of my own, as well as the shortage of some conditions, the research of this paper is still unsatisfactory. For example: the content of the investigation and the purpose of the subject is not very clear; the analysis of the classroom teaching case; the level of the students’ ability to geometry, the survey is not comprehensive. It is not very deep in the research of the cultivation of the geometrical intuition ability of mathematics in various fields. Finally, it is expected that this study can be a reference for the development of the students’ ability of geometry and the teaching of the classroom.
