This article sees the Mandarin Proficiency Test and the unqualified students as the research object, regards the unqualified students in Mandarin Proficiency Test as the goal, analyzes the unqualified reason of the secondary vocational student in mandarin level test, thinking about the direction of the secondary vocational Chinese teaching reform, to improve secondary vocational Chinese accomplishment and mandarin level test pass rate.This article analyzes the Mandarin Proficiency Test unqualified students of Yantai Engineering Professional Technology College in 2013 and secondary raw paper application form, found unqualified candidates language literacy deficiencies, dialects are regional characteristics, Mandarin Proficiency Test value degree is not high. Especially Chinese accomplishment shortage problem is very critical; mainly in the low level of literacy quantity is not up to standard, reading, language expression ability lacking.Combined with the problems I have found, this paper proposes secondary vocational Chinese teaching reform proposals:The ability of oral expression should be highlighted in teaching goals. The goals of vocabulary and the cultivation of reading and writing are all achieved and verified by speaking.The word cognition and reading should be strengthened in teaching contents. Students are instructed to understand and use the mother language correctly in the teaching process of word cognition; Word studying is promoted, a mandarin learning atmosphere is created; students’ aesthetic level is promoted by reading aloud.Paying attention to guide, train and encourage students is used as teaching methods. Students are guided to be interested in Chinese and cultivate the self-teaching ability by interesting teaching methods. Students are improved in reading ability and aesthetic level by the means of training step by step. Students are endowed with self-confidence by the way of positive praise and careful listening,Finally, the status of Mandarin Proficiency Test needs to be elevated. The score of Mandarin Proficiency Test should be used as students’ Chinese examination results. In this way, students and teachers will attach great importance to Mandarin Proficiency Test; teachers will be active in the training of mandarin proficiency testers and improve in teaching level.
