A Study On The Predicaments And Countermeasures Of County Vocational Education

Secondary vocational education has seriously lagged behind in social and economic development with the implementation of the People’s Republic of China Vocational Education Act. Ministry of Education actively explores new approaches and new models, new system adapting to the development of vocational education, especially the rural vocational education. Whether to develop efficient agriculture with taking the path of sustainable development of agriculture or guide the rural labor transferring to towns, which needs to improve the professional quality of the rural labor force and vocational skills. It is an effective way to promote the county economy, improve the quality of labors and increase farmers’ income. It is an important task how the county vocational education cultivates complies with the trend of modern economy’s development. Therefore, this article studies the predicaments of developing vocational education to promote the county economy great-leap-forward development, which plays an important role of theoretical significance and practical significance. This article precludes the use of investigation method, comparative method and literature analysis method to survey county vocational education and county economic in Changsha, and proposed the corresponding countermeasures designed to make county vocational education to get rid of the plight of development.The thesis mainly consists of four parts:The first part is an introduction. It states the background of this theme, the researchers reviewed, significance, research ideas and methods. It also describes the thoughts and methods of this thesis.The second part mainly analyses the county vocational education and the economic development of the sample county, Changsha County. Secondly, it describes the basic situation of vocational education, quality of education, professional settings, and the vocational education teacher and student’s present condition.The third part expresses the county vocational education existing predicaments from the size of the school, teaching staffs, to education funding and analyzes the reason of those existing problems in countryside vocational education.The fourth part puts forward the countermeasures to cope with the predicaments of the county vocational education. It is needed to promote the development of county vocational education, with changing the traditional views towards vocational education, reforming the enrollment policy and ensure the number of school students, guaranteeing the investment and operating conditions, adjusting the funds to improve school conditions and etc.
