This study is trying to know the situation about application of Moodle in schools,especially in high schools,under the background of wide development of Moodle in the world.Meanwhile,it chooses some first-year students of a high school in Chongqing as the research sample.Through the instruction design and teaching practice of high school IT course based on Moodle,we can have an idea of the level of application of Moodle in high schools.And we can get some suggestions for the teaching in high school IT course,with the experience of teaching and finding problems in the classroom.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first one is mainly about the research background,significance and research status at home and abroad.It presents the method,contents,innovation and process of this study briefly.The second one is about outline of the research basis.It introduces the characteristics of IT course,related learning theories and the main features of Moodle.It provides some theoretical support for the study.The third chapter is about the process of instruction design,concerning IT course in high school.It’s also about the features of teaching content,learning situation and teaching strategy.This is the basis of instruction design.The fourth chapter presents two cases about instruction design of IT course based on Moodle.It conducts instruction design based on specific contents and analyzes the process of teaching in IT class.The fifth chapter analyzes the process of IT class based on Moodle,including preparation,organization,implementation and summary of teaching based on specific teaching cases.The last chapter is the summary of this study,including the results,problems and prospects.It provides specific teaching reference for other teachers.
