Using The Moodle Platform To Promote Junior High School Information Technology Teaching Performance Research

As a "young" disciplines,there is relatively little research to improvethe teaching performance of IT courses.To improve the teachingperformance of middle school IT courses,we need to select anappropriate teaching platform.The low technology requirements of theMOODLE platform, that meets students’different learning needs in theteaching process of IT courses,and contribute to the teachers andstudents of innovation capability and information literacy training.MOODLE platform is the more prominent one of the many teachingplatform.In my research, I used mainly the documentaryresearch,questionnaires,case study method and practical researchmethods.By surving the teaching situation about IT courses in middleschool where I working in,I analyzed the problems existing in IT coursesteaching of middle school.Then,according to teaching contents, I usedthree kinds of implementation,namely:using MOODLE platform to carryout the teaching of IT courses based on task driven,using MOODLEplatform to carry out the teaching of IT courses based onproblem-solved,using MOODLE platform to carry out the teaching of ITcourses based on collaborative learning.Focus on the practical level,Iundertook a in-depth exploration,designed to use the powerful featuresof the MOODLE platform to provide students with self-learningopportunities and the environment,explore the teaching mode of ITcourse which not only conform to the teaching characteristics of ITcourses,but also fit for middle school students’congnition,can achievehigh efficiency of students to learn.The same time,I hope my researchcan provide same experience for the reform and development of thenew curriculum,and provide a reference basis for more front-lineteachers to use MOODLE platform for assisting teaching.
