Along with the speedy development of computer and network technology, information technology is becoming a basic tool for people’s work, study and life, and it has become the most active and decisive factor of all social fields. In view of this, education of information technology is increasingly paid more attention by the state and society, the teaching of information technology in primary and secondary school is the main land to comprehensively carry out information technology education, its effect is directly related to the success or failure of the information technology education. At present, primary and secondary schools are implementing information technology education, and has achieved remarkable results. But for various reasons, there are still some problems exiting in the progress, such as the problem of teaching evaluation, behaving as students’assignments after class cannot be hand in and get feedback in time, and evaluation method is single, etc.The use of online-assignment system brings a quick and efficient of education evaluation, and it plays an important role in promoting students’academic development and improving the teaching quality. Even so, study shows that there are still many problems exiting such as single assessment way, lack of appropriate feedback, poor participation, etc. Using the E-Learning portfolio to record the learning process is a procedure-oriented way of evaluation that has be commonly recognized by a variety of evaluation idea, and it can effectively make up for the online homework system. Therefore, the research starts from the characteristics of secondary schools’ information technology curriculum, based on the E-Learning portfolio and the online-assignment system, designs and implements a information technology curriculum’s online-assignment system based on the e-learning portfolio, then put it into the teaching practice, it has important theoretical significance and application value. This Paper firstly analyzes the present problem of information technology course especially the assignments evaluation, discusses the theory and practice research on E-Learning portfolio and online-assignment system, proposed combining E-Learning portfolio and the online-assignment system to solve practical problems, and then carry on requirement analysis, function structure design and software development, and apply it in real teaching activity, lastly analyzes and summarizes the application effect by investigation. The several aspects work are as follows:(1) Study the E-Learning portfolio. Looking up relevant information, especially about the designing and developing. Analyzing the application of the E-leaning portfolio to find out which is suitable for course assignments management and evaluation.(2) Study the online-assignment system. Grasping its function and structure through literature analysis and using experience with the current mainstream online-assignment system, at the same time, find out their advantages and disadvantages, analyzing how to put E-learning portfolio into the online-assignment system of the information technology course, as well as its feasibility.(3) Survey the current situation of information technology course in the assignments management, summing up the existing problems. Carrying out demanding analysis investigation among the vast teachers and students, summarize the users’ requirements that can direct the design of the system.(4) Design and implement the information technology curriculum’s online-assignment system based on the e-learning portfolio. According to the theory of process evaluation and multiple subject evaluation theory, designing and implementing an online-assignment system based on the E-learning portfolio from the perspective of software engineering.(5) The use and improvement of the system. Applying the system to the teaching practice, collecting users’ suggestions to perfecting the system. Summarizing the theoretical and practical significance of combining E-learning portfolio with online-assignment system.Through the above work, by doing investigation and analysis of the application, get the whole picture of the results and the problems encountered in the using process, combined with the data and chart analyzes possible reasons, finally summarizes several key factors that can influence the using effects:the ideological understanding, system’s function, hardware support and environmental factors, teachers and students participation and so on. These conclusions lay a solid foundation for the further research in my information technology course teaching.
