| In current various kinds of education reforms, the student schoolwork burden overweight problem is always the ills of basic education. Several generations of the party and state leaders are published speeches for this. The central administrative department of education has issued over 30 students files. In 2001, the ministry of education promoted the eighth curriculum reform. During the process of new curriculum reform, a certain amount of progress has been made, but there are few areas reflect the students’ schoolwork burden did get reduced.Carrying out a empirical research in high school will have a practical guiding significance in changing the current situation of high school student schoolwork burden overweight. So the investigation is on the basis of present situation of Sichuan province high school student schoolwork burden, uses the biological disciplines as breakthrough point, and understand the basis of of sichuan province ordinary high school student schoolwork burden and the current situation of biological disciplines schoolwork burden after the new curriculum reform. According to these to find out problems in students daily life course, and combined with other experts and scholars’ research results to explore some targeted and operability of the countermeasures and suggestions to reduce the financial burden of high school students, so as to provide the reality basis for the implementation of the new curriculum reform.The author did the survey among 1670 high school students from 21 different schools. Survey showed that overall, the student schoolwork burden is heavier from a objective aspect, including, low sleeping quality, less sleeping time, much class capacity, frequent exams and many kinds of teaching materials, long learning time, cram or remedial class on weekends or holidays, etc.; From the perspective of the subjective feeling of students’, nearly half of the students think schoolwork burden is overweight, while few students think the current study life is happy. Students feel pressure from society, family, teachers and students themselves. And from the point of biology, the students’ biological schoolwork burden overweight phenomenon still exists, such as there are more than 4 biology classes every week, biological tests are more frequent and most students do additional biological practice, etc.; From the perspective of the subjective feeling of students of biological schoolwork burden, nearly two thirds of the students think that biology is difficult, there are still some students think that biology schoolwork burden is overweight. And heavy schoolwork burden has a bad effect on students’ physical and psychological health. The author thinks under the background of new curriculum reform, we can put forward the countermeasures to reduce the financial burden of learning course from the aspects of objective situations and students’ subjective psychological situations. From the aspects of objective situations we can improve teachers’ own quality: teachers should understand the new curriculum reform correctly, open experiment teaching as much as possible, constructing efficient classroom. From students’ subjective psychological situations: teachers should change teaching idea, teaching evaluation methods, strengthen students’ happiness in work. |
