Study On The Development Of Elderly Education From The Perspective Of Government Administration

As one of social vulnerable groups, the elderly have few social resources, live a poor quality of life, and thus they belong to a special social group with extremely vulnerable bearing capacity. Although the era is in progress, their problems in life, economy and mental health etc have been gradually exposed, and thus affect their life quality and physical and psychological health. As a mode of improving physical and mental status of the elderly, elderly education plays an important role in solving aging population phenomenon currently. Increasingly more aging society and elderly education lack good material support and comprehensive mental support, and thus face different degrees of loneliness, dolefulness, frustration and depression. All these problems reflect deficiencies of traditional endowment patterns and social support system in current social development, and shall be increasingly concerned with the development of aging population, and shall be attached importance to by each family and social department. This paper analyzes problems in existing elderly education, and explores causes and countermeasures, in order to provide theoretical suggestions and guidance for these problems, draw the attention of relevant personnel and social departments, and make contribution to better solving problems. “A sense of worthiness” plays a decisive role, as it could enrich the connotation of “a sense of security”, improve the taste of “entertainment”, and have very important practical significance. With the objective of promoting “entertainment” by “education”, the elderly education career shall be incorporated into the overall planning of local social development. Hopefully, the case study of development planning and construction of elderly career in Fenghua City could provide active and significant reference for the promotion of national elderly education career.
