Zhu xi is the southern song dynasty famous educationist and thinker, is a master of neo-confucianism. The history of the development of Confucianism in China, played an important role which forms a connecting link between the preceding and zhu xi. Zhu xi on the basis of the study of science, through the rich education practice activities, formed a set of system, the unique moral education thought system. This research will be based on respect history, zhu xi thought of moral education to form the specific background, combed zhu xi’s thought of moral education system, mining the essence of zhu xi’s moral education thought, summarizes the zhu moral education ideas for improvement and innovation of the current ideological and political education work of reference value. Overall, this study is divided into four most:The first part mainly studies zhu xi’s historical background of moral education thought. Specific historical background is the cornerstone of cultural formation, the formation of zhu’s thought of moral education and of the southern song dynasty era, his moral education thought in Confucianism as the core, in reference to absorb the pre-qin period and southern song dynasty on the basis of the positive results of moral education, moral education theory for the creative development, formed its own unique thought of moral education. This section will be taken from several aspects such as economy, politics, theory basis.The second part from zhu xi’s moral education thought of the basic content, main characteristics, the education goal three aspects combing the theoretical system of zhu xi’s moral education thought in detail. The first is to elucidate elementary school "teaching" and university stage "theory" is the basic content of zhu xi’s moral education thought, secondly points out that with strong feudal color and pay attention to internal and external cooperation is the most obvious characteristics of zhu xi’s moral education thought, on this basis, the zhu xi’s basic aim of moral education "Ming ethics" and the ultimate goal "sages" were analyzed to explore.The third part detailed combed the zhu xi’s ways and concrete methods of moral education. Zhu believes that to achieve the goal of moral education and moral education work rely mainly on school education, family education, social education and self education in four ways. In addition, and gives a detailed study of zhu xi’s method of moral education, mainly including inspired yuen, step by step, according to their aptitude, devoting to practice and develop education, etc.The fourth part combined with the study of zhu xi’s moral education thought, its important value in the contemporary focus on mining. First when the dialectical view of zhu xi’s moral education thought, in the affirmation of its historical contribution at the same time, also should see its historical limitations, to take its essence, pick out the dross; Second theory to guide practice, this article finally from five aspects of zhu xi’s moral education thought of contemporary moral education in colleges and universities work reference value for the thick ink rewrite, strive for excellence combined with zhu xi’s moral education thought and flash idea, innovation and improvement of the current college ideological and political education work, and that is what the meaning of this study.
