| At present,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.In this new era,China’s socialist undertakings have made remarkable achievements.In the process of building a strong socialist modernization country,Xi Jinping fully emphasized the important position of excellent traditional culture,and instructed us to strengthen the excavation and application of Chinese excellent traditional culture.Mencius,as the most famous thinker and educator in ancient China,is another master of Confucianism after Confucius.Among them,Mencius’ moral education thought has distinct uniqueness and times.The study of Mencius’ moral education thought not only promotes traditional culture,but also provides a new theoretical basis for contemporary moral construction,and provides deep spiritual power for building socialist spiritual civilization and realizing the "Chinese Dream" of great rejuvenation.Based on the relevant theories of Mencius’ moral education thought and the development requirements of contemporary moral construction,this paper tries to provide useful reference and enlightenment for contemporary moral construction in China.This paper mainly includes six parts.The first part is the introduction,which gives a brief account of the research background,the significance of the topic selection,the research status and the innovations of this paper.The second part mainly explores the background and theoretical origin of Mencius’ moral education thought.Firstly,it analyzes the background of Mencius’ moral education thought from the social and personal aspects.Secondly,from Mencius’ inheritance and creation of Confucius’ thought,and the influence of Lu culture and Central Plains culture on Mencius,it explores the theoretical origin of Mencius’ moral education thought.The third part analyzes the theoretical overview of Mencius’ moral education thought.The principles,contents and methods of Mencius’ moral education thought are classified and studied.Mencius embodied the moral education principles of "changing the past and moving the good","returning the contract from the abundant" and "opposing others".In the content of moral education,the moral values of "knowing benevolence and righteousness","understanding human relations" and "applying filial piety" are put forward In the method of moral education,it is proposed that we should set up moral example by "respecting sages",improve moral cultivation by "cultivating one’s mind",and standardize moral behavior by "taking one’s body as a model".The fourth part discusses the rationality and limitations of Mencius’ moral education thought on the basis of systematic analysis of Mencius’ related thoughts,and makes a dialectical historical evaluation.The fifth part is a research on the contemporary enlightenment of Mencius’ moral education thought.First of all,in the aspect of individual self-cultivation,combined with the relevant theoretical overview of the third part,this paper expounds the enlightenment of Mencius’ moral education thought in improving self-education,healthy development of personality and cultivation of moral emotion;Secondly,at the level of ideological and political education,this paper discusses the enlightenment of Mencius’ moral education in promoting the unity of political and academic rationality,unity and diversity,and indoctrination and enlightenment;Finally,in the aspect of social moral construction,this paper discusses the enlightenment of Mencius’ moral education thought on leading moral fashion,standardizing moral category and carrying forward family virtues.The sixth part is the conclusion,which mainly summarizes the full text. |
