Most students get information from the environment is transmitted to the brain through the visual, color perception plays an important role in vision. According to physiologists and psychologists experiments showed that students in junior high, the degree of sensory perception of color to identify relatively strong, these students have a strong observation, expression and self-control, while students also affect their character color preference. Therefore, in junior high school period, conscious students of color perception, for students of good character and intellectual development, and enhance the aesthetic qualities are important. But now the art of teaching in the classroom, mostly students the basics of education and training in painting simple, while ignoring the students’ perception of color. Color is an important language and expressive means of painting, student artwork, and emotional performance is mainly the use of color to express. So I believe in art class which, just to teach students techniques and knowledge is not enough, it should be important to the culture of their color perception abilities. Through the cultivation of color perception, with the brush strokes to express emotion, to better improve students ’ability to express emotion, to enhance students’ art literacy.This paper is divided into four phases, the first author from the available information about color perception, the summary analysis of color perception and color concepts and improve their students’ interest in learning art, students application ability, edify Art sentiment so meaningful analysis. The second stage is through the questionnaire, to understand students’ color preferences, analyze psychological characteristics of students, students of color perception to understand the status quo is now in a natural context, sensitivity to light, and there are aspects of personality differences. The third phase of analysis of the reasons students of color perception differences, from the student’s own factors, interest in learning and attitudes, quality of teachers, parents and the school’s emphasis on education and other aspects of the analysis. The fourth stage is the key section of this article, the author analyzes in accordance with the foregoing reasons, the training of teachers to strengthen the basics of color from the art class, understanding of color and rhythm of color emotion comprehension; in extracurricular activities to enhance students’ interest in learning, parental support and encouragement, the school actively carry out artistic activities and other methods to students of color perception.Through the study of the culture of color perception, combined with their teaching, to guide students toward positive aspects of the development, to stimulate their interest in the art of learning to improve student literacy and overall aesthetic quality of art.
