Color is not only a product of nature,but also an important part of our life.Our life is more inseparable from color,such as clothing matching,product design,interior decoration,traffic lights and even student textbook illustrations,which all need color to decorate.Color not only affects our life,regulates our emotions,but also is an indispensable artistic language in painting.Therefore,it is very important to cultivate students' understanding of color,perception of color,and aesthetic ability of color.But because of each student's personal preference,living environment,family education are different,students' cognition and understanding of color are different,even some students are born with color defects.According to the differences of students,it is important to understand the state of mind of students,to use the correct teaching method to guide them to understand and appreciate beauty,and to improve the students' sense of color.Color is an indispensable part in art teaching,which is an important part of art teaching in junior high school.It is of great significance to cultivate students' aesthetic accomplishment,creative ability,expression ability and so on.However,at present,in most junior middle school art classes in villages and towns,the teaching of color is rare,and the teaching of color is limited to the explanation of the basic knowledge of color,which is absolutely neglecting the cultivation of students' ability to appreciate the beauty of color and the ability of artistic creation.The lack of color teaching in junior high school art teaching has seriously affected students' ability to discover beauty and create beauty in their lives,and is not conducive to improve their aesthetic and artistic accomplishment.Therefore,it is urgent to solve the current situation of color teaching in junior middle schools.This paper expounds the importance of color in junior high school art teaching from the background and reasons of the lack of color teaching in junior high school.Combining with the current situation of color teaching in six middle schools in Changli County,the paper summarizes the main problems in the color teaching of junior high school in villages and towns by means of questionnaires and interviews.This paper deeply analyzes the reasons of the problems,combines with the actual situation and the author's own teaching experience,and puts forward the corresponding color teaching strategies with reference to the relevant teaching documents at home and abroad,in order to achieve the connection between theory and practice.The author hopes that the study can arouse the attention of school leaders and art teachers to color teaching,enhance the guidance to color teaching in art teaching,and strengthen students' cognition of color and apply color knowledge to life,which is good for cultivating students' ability to discover beauty and create beauty,and improving students' aesthetic ability and artistic accomplishment.At the same time,I hope this study can be used for reference to solve the problem of art color teaching in other villages and towns of Qinhuangdao.The article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is introduction,which mainly illustrates from the background and reason of the selected topic,the present situation of research at home and abroad,the content,method,train of thought and significance of the research.The second chapter contains two important aspects in art teaching: aesthetic cultivation and color perception.These two aspects expound the importance of color in art teaching.Chapter three is the analysis of the research results.The research subjects are leaders,art teachers and some students in Liutai Middle School,Ningjing Middle School,Ruhe Middle School,Changli No.3 Middle School,Changli No.4 Middle School and Changli No.5 Middle School with the questionnaires and an interview.Chapter four is based on the analysis of the research results.This chapter will analyze the problems in the process of color teaching in junior high school as well as the reasons from the aspects of teaching attention to color teaching and art teachers' professional competence in school.Chapter five puts forward the teaching strategy for the deficiency of color teaching in middle school,mainly puts forward the methods and ideas of solving the problem from five aspects.And the last chapter is a summary of this paper.
