Today, the development of information technology is rapidly. By using ofcomputer technology, the booming multimedia technology has been more and morepervasive into the elemental education. The multimedia educational software is animportant support to the process of education informatization. It not only changed thetraditional teaching mode, teaching process and teaching methods, but also created anew research direction which is the design and convey of multimedia educationalsoftware. Currently, the main researches in this field are the study of multimediatechnology and teaching software’s instructional design and evaluation. It isuncommon that the research focuses on the visual design and communication,especially, fully depending on the color to study multimedia educational software.However, the color cannot be ignored in the design of multimedia educationalsoftware.So far the research of color design in the multimedia educational softwarefocuses on the color matching and color psychology, the information communicationway is oriented to computer. In the process of the elementary education teaching,multimedia educational software shows learning contents to students by projectingcontents on the whiteboard. Therefore, this thesis’ main parts are researching thedifference between the color which displays on the whiteboard and the monitor,exploring how to display the accuracy projection color.The research on the projection picture color in this thesis is based on PCCS(Practical Color Co-ordinate System). PCCS is a the color system with the purpose ofcolor harmony, which is to expresses the color tone series based on tone and hue.From the color tone perspective, PCSS shows relationships between the hue and thelightness, the hue and the purity. From the hue’s position in tone series, PCSSanalyzes the hue’s lightness and purity. To analyze the projection color based onPCCS is an innovation in this thesis.The analysis and the comparison of the projection screen color are achieved byempirical research and questionnaire. In the empirical research, the computer’s RGBcolor and the multimedia educational software are shown on the whiteboard. Throughthe illuminometer measurement, student survey, taking pictures for evidence andother ways, the thesis studies the multimedia pictures’ color, which will make dataaccurate, picture intuitive and consequence objective. Summarized all the abovestudies, the research of the projection color will be more scientific. A multimediaeducational software would be made to verify the consequence in practice.
