Autonomous learning is an important subject of current education study. Autonomous learning is not only the objective, as well as a kind of teaching method, but also an effective way to learn. Group cooperative learning is based on interpersonal interaction orientation of interactive learning methods, encouraging students to learn by experience, in the form of discussion, cooperation, exploration and study, offering opportunities for the students to share results and thinking collision, giving students a sustainable and lifelong learning motivation. Learning self-efficacy refers to the students in the learning activities for their ability to complete learning tasks and the ability of specific learning activity predictions. It embodies the student a confidence and expectations of their own learning, which is one of the important internal factors influencing students’ autonomous learning.This study is among grade one students a liberal arts class from Zhongshan Dongsheng senior middle schools Guangdong province. It is about three semesters of practice and study. Teachers’ teaching is based on the group learning theory, combining the characteristics of high school Chinese teaching practice. On this basis, we will explore group learning mode in teaching, the mode of cooperative learning group with Chinese high school students self-efficacy and the relevance between the language performance. This study found that effective group cooperative learning can improve students’ self-efficacy, and also can help to stimulate students’ learning interests and enthusiasm, thus students can improve the language learning. Therefore, we believe that the method of group cooperation study, can not only help improve the quality of students’ learning self-efficacy to improve students’ academic performance, but also enhance students’ cooperation consciousness.
