The Chinese classical novel has experienced the smelting of space and time, cultural integration, what make itself with a kind of unique and eternal Oriental flavor. In order to improve the students’ humanities cultivated manners and cultivate the students’ humanistic spirit, it plays an irreplaceable role. So, teachers and students should pay more attention to Chinese classical novels teaching in the middle school Chinese teaching. With the development of Classical novel teaching, teachers have formed the stable teaching mode. On the credit side, this mode is very practical and more efficient. But it also has some disadvantages, such as,the old teaching methods are always inflexible and its aims are utilitarian.This paper consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, based on the classical novel teaching current situation, this paper analyses the most of advantages and disadvantages in the current classical novel teaching. Then,in the second chapter, the paper also tries to find what the factors influenced the classical novel teaching. And what the impacts caused by those various factors on the classical novel teaching. For example, the Chinese classical novels account for a small proportion in the middle school Chinese teaching materials, and rarely appear in the calendar year of the university entrance exam, which leads to teachers do not attach importance to classic novel teaching. It also leads that students have no in-depth study in learning classical novels. In view of the above points, as the core of the article, the writer study the middle school classical novel teaching strategies specifically combined with instances in Chapter 3.The paper attempts to find the right ways about how to introduce new classes to students, how to set reasonable problems, how to practice and consolidate the teaching achievements and so on. The article aims to seek the theoretical innovation and the breakthrough of teaching practice, in order to cope with the problems faced by Chinese classical novel teaching in the middle school. Combining the above theory research results, in the appendix the author analyses one case of classical novel teaching, and a middle school classical novel teaching design example is given. Full text is on combination of theory and practice. And the writer tries to apply the theoretical research results into teaching practice.
