It is set in the relevant high level documents in China like The NationalBasic Education Reform Outline (on trial) and The National Medium and Long TermEducation Reform and Development Plan that all kinds of excellent resources insideand outside schools need to be utilized in school education. How to educate primaryschool students reasonably with resources inside and outside schools and enrich theeducation activities? It is recommended in the various relevant government policiesand literature as well as by many education experts that the utilization of resourcesshould be closely related with society and daily lives. As a famous primary schoolfor elementary education with over100years history, D primary school follows therequirement of relevant policies, takes into consideration of the local reality andstudents’ characteristics, to implement education activities for young students withresources of hometown celebrities and makes some achievements in this area. Thispaper will analyze and explore the educational value as well as the basic strategy toapply hometown celebrities’ resources for primary students’ education through theabove case study of D primary school.This paper mainly takes D primary school as research object, which utilizingresources of celebrities of hometown to educate primary school students. Bycollecting and analyzing the case study of D primary school, this paper is trying tofind the basic strategy to apply such education activities. Through such researchingwork, this paper aims to summarize the practice of education of D school, make itscontent and methods more accurate and more targeted. This paper also aims tosummarize, gather experience and set up examples for education of other ordinaryprimary schools.Based on above research requirements and objectives, this paper will elaboratein the following aspects:First, this paper introduces the background of research work and core concepts,it also describes the significance of the research work and the relevant literature cited. The basic research methods like the literature research, interview method, and casestudy method are adopted in this paper to collect and study the case of D school.Secondly, this paper describes and analyzes in detail the various cases of Dschool how to utilize the resource of hometown celebrities to educate elementarystudents. By selecting the conventional activities like celebrity school-basedcurriculum education activities, community education activities and celebritysquadron education activities etc, this paper describes in detail the various cases withthe information and data collected. Through analyzing the various cases, this paperfinds that the hometown celebrities resources of D school are able to well developthe local pupil’s humanities, especially they are have good educational value andpractice value to improve local pupil the moral ethics, the taste of poetry and thespirit of innovation. By analyzing and studying the key points of involvinghometown celebrities resources for primary school education, this paper outlines thebasic strategies to how to select, which methods to adopt and implement humanitieseducation of primary school students with hometown celebrities resourcesFinally, this paper sums up the research results of the above case studies andand carries out a preliminary prospect on the future research trend.
