Tai Chi is a bright pearl of the Chinese martial arts, which is a martial art form ofChinese ancient martial arts of painstaking research. it have the function on martial,health and ornamental. Tai Chi showed of Chinese traditional philosophy, ancientmedicine and Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, has a profound cultural background.Confucianism occupies an extremely important position in Chinese traditional culture.Tai Chi also fully embodies the meaning of Confucianism on wealth of Confucianism,technical style, moral etiquette, the concept of health and the theory of development.Studying the connection between Tai Chi and Confucianism is good for enriching andimproving the Tai Chi theory, digging deeper connotation, so that it can betterdevelopment of Tai Chi. As a carrier, the development of Tai Chi also spread theessence of Confucianism and the Chinese traditional culture.This article mainly by using the methods of documentation, interviews andcomprehensive analyses of the Confucianism and sort out relevant content forstudying on the Confucianism and Tai Chi research.Our conclusions are as follows:1. As the part of our traditional culture, Tai Chi absorb Confucian culture aboutHeaven, yin and yang, benevolence, moderation ideological essence in the process ofits emergence and development.the doctrine of the mean thought essence influencedthe technical theory of Tai Chi and formed a style of technology, which says " Internaland external consistency, Vivid; inaction, movement freely; softness, firmness andflexibility; striking; opening and closing of the actual situation, consecutive rounds oflive ".2. Tai Chi etiquette moral core, performance and methodology are imprintedwith Confucianism, which paying attention to the medium characteristics on etiquettemoral Confucianism, benevolence and filial piety, modest and polite, harmony.Confucianism guiding the formation and development of Tai Chi ritual morality, andTai Chi also in developing the heritage and carrying forward the Confucian thought,the two complement each other, common development.3. Confucianism is the core and the highest value pursue of morality, the thought of "Charity,""moderate,""righteousness" and the theory of Yin and Yang and the main characteristics of static,take heart, has important significance for Tai chi and even health theories andmethods of health science.4. The inheritance and development of Tai Chi follows themoderation of Yin and Yang Confucian thinking and dialectical thinking andemphasizes the heritage of etiquette moral. We need to use neutralize thinking and thedialectical thinking to study the development of tai chi, achieving a breakthrough ontraditional thinking, and also not breaking away from traditional culture.
