The study of Confucian educational thought is a basic research which explores the construction of Chinese pedagogical discipline system.By Long Time Interval and theories related to knowledge space,the examination of Confucian educational thoughts is an inherent requirement for the construction of pedagogical discipline system,which could cultivate the cultural self-confidence and consciousness of the Chinese nation.This study roughly divides the evolution of the Confucian theory of human nature into three stages: first,taking the “nature of the mandate of heaven” of the“moderation” as the basic origin of it,“heaven” is the highest law that is not transferred by human will,“fate” is the transformation mechanism that communicates“heaven” and “human nature”.Human nature is the manifestation of the both;following the original human nature is the moral regulations that people must abide by;and the cultivation of humanity is education.Second,Confucius founded the Confucian theory of human nature,he proved that people can be educated,and he taught students.Confucian educational ideas were formally created.Third,from the Warring States to the Ming and Qing dynasties,goodness of the nature and evil of the emotion,were transformed by Dong Zhongshu in the Han Dynasty.It established political legitimacy.During the Wei and Jin dynasties,Confucianism was impacted by Buddhism and Taoist doctrine,but during the Song Dynasty,it once again regained its national orthodoxy,absorbed the Buddhist cosmology and Taoist metaphysical way of knowledge and reasoning,put forward “reason and qi”,and perfected the theory of human nature.The evolution of Confucian educational thought is reflected in the purpose of education,the content of education,and the education system.The purpose of education has mainly undergone the changes of learning to be a saint,learning for oneself,and everyone can be a sage;in the evolution of educational content,it has basically formed a classification of knowledge based on “true knowledge” and“common knowledge”,a knowledge structure based on righteousness and morality,and a teaching material system based on the Four Books and Five Classics,which was implemented in educational practice during the Ming and Qing dynasties;the official and private learning orientation of the education system tended to be consistent,and the examination system evolved from taking the Confucian classics as a reference to completely relying on the Four Books and Five Classics.In summary,the evolution of the Confucian educational ideological system is characterized by the closedness of inheritance,the openness of compatibility,and the originality of the system.The above has a revealing effect on the construction of China’s pedagogical discipline system,and should dig deep into China’s excellent traditional culture,and carry out the construction of the discipline system based on the real history and academic development of the country,including the inheritance and development of some important concepts;it should critically absorb the excellent achievements of foreign advanced education theories,master the appropriate research methods,and use them for their own use;we should internally create the Discipline System of Chinese Pedagogy,create students from within the academics,and conform to the academic paradigm and theoretical logic of the discipline.
