Retirees’ Leisure Sharing In Community Service Design Study In Hangzhou

With the development of economy and health conditions, the spiritual needs of more and more retired people are much greater than the physiological care needs. Building an active aging society has taken the government’s increasing attention. Social involvement and substantial recreational activities for retirees have played an huge role in improving life satisfaction during retirement for the elderly. While the happy involvement leisure activities is often based on mastery of knowledge and skills related activities. Old retired university is the service model which meets both the needs of the elderly’s leisure knowledge mastery and the recreational needs of leisure sharing, and at the beginning of its opening had been favorable. But its type is too traditional and simple, which is unable to meet the broad needs of the majority of the retirees.This study takes Hangzhou’s retirees’ leisure sharing community service for the study. First, researched the existing related community endowment service at home and abroad and the old social service products, and the sharing of knowledge related to social service related research of the current product and model at home and abroad. Then summarized the relevant principles and need-level of retirees’leisure sharing service design combined with service design thinking.Secondly, based on social exchange theory, structural equation modeling methodology was used for researching the influencing mechanism of Hangzhou retirees’leisure sharing behavior intention. The significantly affected factors of trust and self-efficacy were extracted for the basis of design. Based on user-centric design ideas, integrated of behavioral observation, deep interviews and other research methods, we deeply studied the generally life status, leisure awareness, community participation needs, sense of trust and self-efficacy of the retirees who lives in Hangzhou communities. After that, the users are distinguished to3types, which are well-educated and independent ones, active ones, domesticated traditional ones. Each type’s users’ needs are sort out and also the leisure services design guidelines.On the basis of preliminary research, relying on the information service environment of Hangzhou communities, with service design perspective, we explored to design retirees’leisure sharing service system combined with principles of product and service demand level of the elderly. Blueprint was used to present the service system of retirees’leisure sharing service in communities. The service is provided through the TV app and a smart portable terminal as two core products, the functions mainly includes leisure group, classroom video viewing, group interaction, activities, enrollment and other functions. Through a usability testing and evaluation of the service prototype, the users made a higher rating on the experience and service satisfaction.This study took the retirees’leisure sharing for the breakthrough of the elderly’s social engagement and community service design, took influencing factors on behavioral intention and experience demands for the design guidelines, made a useful exploration on the design of products and services for the elderly. The conclusion of this study, i.e., the retirees’leisure sharing social demands the design strategies based on SET, has a certain reference meaning on understanding the retirees’leisure and social service design.
