A teaching pattern is a pattern based on teaching methods and teaching procedures, that is to say it is based on some basic theories such as pedagogy psychology and teaching methods and formed through a long period of practice, which is quite instructive to students.With the advance of new teaching ideas, the demand for improving teaching level and students’grades is highly expected. It is no longer a practice in which teachers are listening to them attentively and after a class students should finish their homework by imitating what they are taught in classes.Now students have had a good preparation for what they will learn before each class.It is required in the math’s teaching goals for senior high school that all the students must take an active part in all the teaching activities like thinking, exploring, communicating and expressing themselves. Teaching should be focused on students’learning actively, making them play a leading role in each class, teachers act as designers as well as instructors, designing some exercises related to what they are going to teaching and instructing students to master the key points as well as testing how well the students have digested.The purpose of this subject is to study how to use the teaching pattern named "learning before teaching and having mastered the knowledge afterwards" in senior math’s classes. The pattern has been put into practice in our school for three years and is highly thought of.All the students have benefited a lot from it.My paper is developed according to the following six parts:Part one:Putting forward the subject, the purpose and advantages of the subject as well as the current situation home and abroad.Part two:Introducing the teaching pattern named "learning before teaching and having mastered the knowledge afterwards".Part three:Analyzing the teaching strategy’Part four:providing some teaching cases in which the teaching method mentioned above is used and analyzing them.Part five:Analyzing the result of using the teaching method mentioned above.Part six:summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of using the teaching method mentioned above.
