Under new curriculum, the new learning methods if independence, cooperation and study are paid special attention to and well-applied, while traditional goal-setting and achieving were used throughout the whole class and are not suitable for the students' style. This article is aimed at comparing the two systems and the bad results of them. However, we do not tend to turn "aimlessness". Goal-setting and achieving are contradictory and can meanwhile affect each other. We should first set a goal and then try our best to achieve it. The relationship between them can help our teaching. Goal-setting should also benefit the students' development and leave enough room for further development. During the period of class teaching, teachers should catch every opportunity to help the students achieve their goal. |
