Music is a sound art, which is the key to human intelligence. In the process of learning music, the music listening training can not be ignored, and it plays an important role. The age of 4 or 5 is crucial to cultivate children’s music listening. If we use the right training method to train young children at this time, we can make child prodigy "music", which is effective to improve the level of children’s music listening. The study explores the children’s music activities of 4 to 5 years old and chooses Imitating Singing as the main training methods to improve children’s music listening, which is to research the effectiveness of early childhood music listening, and we can come up with the corresponding countermeasures according to the results.This research adopts experimental study to study, which is mainly discuss the influence of using the Imitating Singing method for early childhood music listening. We select 60 children who are 4or 5 years old from Y kindergarten in An Shan as the main research objects. We divided the children into two groups, the one is doing Imitating Singing activities, and the other one is doing traditional music activities. We make a pre-measurement through research tools “Children music listening Test". After 12 times of the Imitating Singing activities, we have the after measurement to the objects. According to the result of measure we can assess if the children’s music listening has improved. The results of the research indicate that Imitating Singing method for early childhood music listening activities have a significant teaching effect, mainly in " Single tone recognition " "interval aims" "chord aims" and "rhythm aims". Imitating Singing can improve the children music listening.
