After several language curriculum reforms, ancient poetry and prose are inevitably involved in the tide of reform. In the continuous exploration, practice and reflection, people have realized that the "knowledge" itself is not the problem. The, key is the attitude to "knowledge" and the methods of teaching. Knowledge of ancient poetry and prose is cultural crystallization, which been profoundly influenced by the feature of Chinese culture and thinking characteristic of the Han nationality, therefore we should explore rich culture in ancient poetry and prose from different perspectives and promote and enrich them in the concrete teaching practice.The first chapter discusses the value of cultural examination of knowledge teaching of ancient poetry and prose in middle school.First, the author echoes the profound Chinese culture and heritage in the New Curriculum requirements, Second, the author reviews the ancient Chinese culture education in teaching to gain enlightenment and finally help transform ancient poetry teaching focus on "objectivism knowledge" of ideas.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of modern knowledge of the language forms in detail in terms of the imagery of the text, the semantic richness of Chinese integrity, metaphorical, musical and stylistic features, and puts forward relevant teaching suggestions according to these characteristics.The third chapter from the perspective of modern knowledge content type, emphatically analyzes the idiom culture, name and regional culture, cultural institutions and foreign culture and Confucian. Based on the language teaching material, with classic modern as an example, the author explored the rich cultural connotation of the knowledge.In Chapter IV, different classes of “On Yueyang Tower” cases were analyzed, and four main teaching methods were put forward, which was examined from a cultural perspective in several ways.
