Teachers’ understanding of curriculum is the process that teacher interprets the meaning of curriculum phenomenon, curriculum text and curriculum events. Teachers’ understanding of curriculum is the effective way to materialize the metaphysical curriculum theory. Along with the eighth curriculum reform, teachers are encouraged to break the original or stylized understanding paradigm and reconstruct and recreate curriculum, which have a certain positive significance. However, problems brought on by overcorrect understanding are also noteworthy phenomenon. For the performance of teachers blindly worship of subjectivity and neglect objectivity when understanding curriculum. What’s more, many teachers have gone absolutely to the side of constructivism and ignored the objectivity of curriculum understanding. In view of above problems, it is necessary for us to have a reflection on teachers’ understanding based on the analysis of the subjective understanding problems among the teachers from primary and secondary school, and to construct a teacher’s understanding curriculum view which is dialectical, subjectivity and objectivity complement each other.The paper mainly adopts literature research method and case analysis method, it aims at the problems of teachers’ understanding curriculum from primary and secondary school to build an ideal subjectivity scene of teachers’ understanding curriculum, and advocate an appropriate teachers’ understanding curriculum.First of all, the paper examines the existing subjective problems of teachers’ understanding curriculum in primary and secondary school from four aspects including teachers’ understanding of curriculum concept, curriculum content, curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation and makes a rational thinking of them. Secondly, the paper analyzes the causes of subjectivity problem when teachers’ understanding curriculum from the understanding value, ability, method and support four aspects, and it points out that the crux of the problem of subjectivity in curriculum understanding. Finally, the paper puts forward some countermeasures to solve the subjective problems of teachers’ understanding of curriculum from teachers’ quality, management specification of school and the fusion of horizons. Among them, intrinsic quality level is of teachers’ self improvement in curriculum understanding; management level is of external guide in Curriculum understanding and fusion of horizons is of understanding cooperation.The paper advocates an appropriate teachers’ understanding curriculum based on the reflection of subjective problems of teachers’ understanding curriculum in primary and secondary school, which will benefit not only the normalization of teachers’ understanding of curriculum, but also the solution of some actual problems of teachers’ understanding of curriculum. And teachers’ understanding level will be improved.
