Courses of teachers understanding research originated in foreign “paradigmshift”, with the new curriculum reform and the implementation of new curriculum, theresearch of teachers understanding is in full swing. Courses of teachers understandingrelated to the effective implementation of the national curriculum, teachers’professional development, and also affect the development of students. What theteachers understand the curriculum? What situation of teachers understanding thecourse? Teachers should be how to understand the course? the paper carried outresearch with this question.In this study, the integrated use of literature research, questionnaires, interviewsand classroom observation. First sorting out the situation of teachers understandingthe current and then analysis of teachers to understand the content and necessity. Asthe theoretical basis of this study to investigate the first-line of teachers to understandthe situation, and finally under the situation of teachers understanding the method isrecommended.The survey study course the essence of the concept of curriculum, courseobjectives, teaching, course content, course evaluation six dimensions to examineteachers’ curriculum understanding. The results of the survey are: Teachers canidentify the new curriculum advocates the idea and the new curriculum demands onteachers in concept, but in the course of actual and teachers’ views differ very far.Curriculum behavior actually difficult to implement the curriculum idea, the teachinggoal understanding mainly concentrated in the knowledge of the target, the concreteclass does not represent the process and method, emotion attitude and valuesobjectives. The understanding of curriculum content mainly in the textbook range.Teaching is still the teachers speaking, students listening, single teaching method, lesstraining students’ learning, thinking ability, mainly to evaluation of the understandingis still in the examination and evaluation, which can explain the teacher did not reallyunderstanding curriculum. The findings of a survey concluded that:(1) inconsistentcourse behavior of teachers and curriculum concept,(2) teachers ignore the role ofcurriculum standards,(3) lack of specific method to understand teachers. To the teachers put forward the understanding of curriculum recommendationsare: teachers should have the independent consciousness, understand the curriculumbased on curriculum standards, reflect the understanding of curriculum.
