Class management is crucial in primary and secondary schools, without which one cannot achieve the anticipated goal of education efficiently, unable to cultivate real talents, and unable to cultivate qualified citizens needed by twenty-first Century. The democratic class management idea of famous contemporary “grassroots educationalist" Li Zhen xi has a depth of philosophy, and it is worth digging and lifting; the idea that accords with the local reality, has the instruction function to the modern class management; the theoretical basis of the management practice, can provide operational mode to improve the scientific level of middle school class management. Therefore, Li Zhen xi’s class democratic management idea not only has great research value, but also cited as the research object of this thesis.Through reading a large number of original work of education of Li Zhen xi, listening to the relevant video lectures and reports, I generalize Li Zhen xi’ achievements on the democratic management of classes, and rise to the perspective of philosophy to analysis and evaluate; at the same time I pay close attention to the blog of Li Zhen Xi, so that timely enrich the democratic management thought, and show the latest research results; in addition, I give theoretical analysis profoundly on the representative case, in order to mining the value of democratic ideas, and to draw the corresponding enlightenment combining with the non- democracy phenomenon of current class management. The paper consists of 5 parts:The first part is introduction. It mainly includes the question proposed, the research significance, literature review, definition of related concepts and the use of research method.The second part: the theoretical basis and forming stage of democratic class management idea of Li Zhen xi. The theoretical basis includes democratic education thought of Tao Xing zhi, humanism thought of Suchomlinski, New Education concept and himself practice. The formation stage of embryonic stage includes construction stage of development and the perfect stage.The third part: the connotation, characteristics and value pursuit of Li Zhen xi’ thought of democratic management of classes. First defining the connotation of democracy and democratic management of classes; then using theoretical and case method to analysis the characteristics, which includes the kept of "love", pay attention to "rule of law", adhere to the "rational", the pursuit of justice, the pursuit of freedom; at last reveals the value pursuit, for development and happiness of people, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning, training qualified democratic citizenship for twenty-first Century.The fourth part: the practice and exploration of the implementation of democratic management of classes of Li Zhen xi. Firstly, combing the concrete content of Li Zhen xi democratic management of classes, mainly includes the specific affairs management of class, the transformation of backward students and love education; secondly, generalizing the implementation principles, namely the principle that democratic management promotes self management and self education, the principle that integrate teacher’s authority and collective will; finally, interpreting the multiple paths that Li Zhen xi manage class, namely learning democracy from democratic life, making friends into students’ soul, dealing with the relationship between class teachers, communicating actively with parents and cooperate with each other.The fifth part: the enlightenment of Li Zhen xi’s thought of democratic management of classes. Several corresponding suggestions are proposed through the research on practice and explore of Li Zhen xi, combined with the problems and insufficiency from class management and school development, and from 5 aspects of teacher, students, education departments, class teachers, families.
