Protection of the rights of university teachers has been the theory in the study ofhigher education and the hot core of the problem, and the democratic management ofuniversity teachers, but few people specialized in-depth study. With the implementationof the appointment of university teachers, college and university teachers, therelationship between a change in the role of a vague position of university teachers,university teachers, legal rights can not be guaranteed. For these reasons, the studyaround the role of university teachers, university teachers, the content of democraticparticipation in university management and university teachers will want to participate inuniversity management and the actual level of participation and other issues, the use ofquestionnaires and interviews on China’s ten public colleges and universities the teachersinvestigation, and find the right college teachers can not implement democraticmanagement of the reasons put forward to protect the democratic participation ofuniversity teachers college management strategy.In this study, a total of seven partsThe first part of the Introduction. This section by Germany, France, the United States, Britain,Japan democratic participation of university teachers in five countries the historicaldevelopment of university management and implementation of the comparison means,for the proposed University of democratic participation of university teachers toimplement strategies to provide effective management of reference.PartⅥ, the protection of public university teachers right to democraticmanagement implementation strategy. This section explicitly University Teachers’ role asthe starting point, proposed to increase the university teachers involved in the democraticmanagement recommendations to further the expansion of university teachers toparticipate in the democratic management of the way, strengthen the construction ofChinese Universities Commission and Congress in Colleges, board of supervisors systemand other measures to protect public university teachers democratic management of theimplementation of specific strategies.
