| The 21 st century is the century of the ocean,and the importance of the ocean has been highlighted as never before as countries around the world have been competing and playing fiercely for the rights and interests of the ocean.As the "second living space" of human beings,the development and utilization of the ocean is related to the rise and fall of a country and nation.China’s peaceful development and national rejuvenation also need to go to the ocean.Therefore,to improve the nation’s understanding of the ocean,the use of the ocean,the concept of ocean strategy,and vigorously carry out the training of marine power consciousness has become the only choice for the rise of China’s ocean and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The strategy of maritime power is the inheritance and development of the maritime thought of successive generations of leaders of the Communist Party of China,which reflects the unremitting pursuit of our Party for a long time,and the maritime power consciousness is the indispensable ideological foundation for the realization of the maritime power strategy.As the builder and force of China’s maritime power strategy,the strength of students’ maritime power consciousness is not only related to the success or failure of the maritime power strategy,but also affects whether the goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation can be successfully achieved.Therefore,it becomes an important part of the theory and practice of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era to focus on cultivating and comprehensively improving the maritime power consciousness of college students in the new era,and to deeply grasp and understand the essence of the maritime power strategy.Following this idea,this paper adopts literature research,questionnaire survey and other methods,and on the basis of the experience of cultivating the ocean awareness of college students in other countries in the world,in-depth research and analysis of the current situation of the new era of college students’ ocean power awareness and college ocean power education,and exploration of ways and methods to further cultivate the ocean power awareness of college students.Firstly,from the aspects of realizing the strategy of maritime power,strengthening ideological and political education,transforming the backward ocean concept,breaking the complex international situation,cultivating the patriotism spirit of university,firmly believing in maritime power,cultivating the concept of enriching the country according to the sea,enhancing the awareness of sea border and sea defense,cultivating the awareness of ocean protection and opening up the global ocean vision,the urgent need and importance of cultivating the maritime power consciousness of college students are proposed.Secondly,to elaborate the basic theory of cultivating maritime strong nation consciousness among college students in the new era,based on the relevant discourses of Marxist classical writers on the ocean,systematically sort out the maritime power consciousness and important discourses of the main leaders of the Communist Party of China after the founding of New China,and deeply elaborate the ideological sources of cultivating the maritime power consciousness among college students in the new era by combining the traditional ocean awareness of China and the western maritime power theory.On this basis,we summarize and systematize the main contents of cultivating students’ maritime power consciousness in the new era in terms of cultivating maritime political consciousness,maritime security consciousness,maritime economic consciousness,maritime cultural consciousness and maritime protection consciousness.Thirdly,through survey questionnaires,we studied the current situation of cultivating the maritime power consciousness among college students in 10 universities in Liaoning Province,focusing on the basic situation of cultivating the maritime power consciousness among college students in terms of their maritime power consciousness,maritime power cognition,maritime power emotion,maritime power action,and maritime power consciousness influencing factors,etc.,and sorted out the The results of the survey are summarized.We analyze the problems in the content,target,method and implementation of the cultivation of students’ maritime power awareness,and analyze the causes of the problems from four aspects:government,universities,society and students.Fourth,to explore the practical path of cultivating the maritime power consciousness of college students in the new era.The cultivation of college students’ maritime power consciousness needs to closely match the implementation of the national maritime power strategy and enhance the effectiveness and infectiousness in concrete practice.Therefore,we need to improve the top-level design from the government and education departments,play the role of the main channel of school teaching,create a good campus marine culture atmosphere,activate the educational function of social organizations and institutions,and stimulate the subjective initiative of college students to promote this work into the heart and brain,and take root.The research on the cultivation of college students’ maritime power consciousness in the new era from the above four aspects can explain the overall framework and logical ideas of cultivating college students’ maritime power consciousness more clearly,and provide some theoretical support and wisdom support for enhancing college students’ maritime power consciousness.Nevertheless,due to the large scale and rich content of this study,it is not easy to cover all aspects.Therefore,this research is intended to serve as a brick to draw in the jade,in order to trigger more in-depth research in the academic community and contribute to the wisdom of enhancing the maritime power consciousness of all people.Through this study,the research framework and theoretical guidance in practice still need to be further improved and enhanced.Only in this way can we achieve the contemporary development and innovative breakthrough of this study. |
