The United States is the first country to put forward and implement life education. It’slife education began in the1960s, earlier than China for more than20years. The UnitedStates has many experience on life education. China and the United States has their owncharacteristics on life education, They have both similaritie and differences.The lifeeducation of China and the United States are compared from the background, connotation oflife education, main content and form of activities, and finally make relevant conclusionandenlightenment. Through the comparison and analysis,I think that the life education in theUnited States has a lot of advantages, especially activities of life education. The United Statesis good at the combination of theory and practice, such as death education, frustrationeducation, and so on.While in China,because there are not the support of relevant nationallaws and regulations,life education cannot be carried out very successfully,so China shoulddraw successful experiences from the United States and formulate laws and regulations of lifeeducation.At the same time, schools should offer special life education curriculum,and carryout activities of frustration education in China. Of course,China should establish centre of lifeeducation in the Midwest which is disadvantage of The United States and develop lifeeducation comprehensively, abidingly and healthily.
