Curriculum standards is the basic programmatic document of nationalcurriculum,The primary coverage of the curriculum standards is the demand ofthe country for education in some fields.The curriculum standards hasinfluence on the teaching materials, teaching and evaluation, and it is thestarting point of teaching materials, teaching and evaluation.The United States is a superpower in the world today.The United States inthe historical aspects of attitudes towards their own country in terms relative tothe Chinese appear to be so careful, especially in the teaching of history. Modeof history education in American culture caused the other countries of theworld and follow suit. Although the history of education in China has a longlong history, but for various reasons, the history of education in the currentdoes not get attention. In2001, the state has adopted the new national historycurriculum standards instead of the original syllabus, which is a new attempt ofChinese history education reform, but in order to be better able to play the roleof the history curriculum, our own efforts, should conduct in-depth analysis ofother countries’ history of education, history curriculum reform and the statusquo and trends. We have to recognize the similarities and differences betweenthe education of the history of history education in China and other countries,learn from the advanced experience of other countries, to explore adevelopment road suitable for our history curriculum reform.Curriculum standards for teaching materials, teaching and evaluation ofthe soul, the soul of the whole basic education, this is the countries attachedgreat importance to the curriculum reform, with particular emphasis oncurriculum standards development work important reason.
