Intervention Study On Social Work For Medical-patient Tangle

Implications for research:At present, there are many loopholes and drawbacks in the doctor-patient conflict prevention mechanism and doctor-patient dispute resolution mechanism. Using the theory and technology of social work intervention in the doctor-patient contradiction is a new attempt to solve nervous situation of the doctor-patient relationship. Research methods:Using retrieval, participatory observation, case study and some qualitative research methods, such as respectively discussing on the existing related literature, investigating and researching in People’s Conciliation Committee of Doctor-patient Disputes of Shanghai "A" District&Social Work Department of Shanghai East Hospital. Target for research:Firstly, This essay will sort out the existing pathway and method that intervened doctor-patient contradiction. Secondly, from theory to practice, practice effect of social work intervention in doctor-patient contradiction will be study. Return from practice to theory, thirdly target is the discussion of encountered related problems in the process of social work intervention in doctor-patient contradictions. Research conclusion: Firstly, as a new way to solve doctor-patient dispute, the people’s mediation mechanism still cannot ease the doctor-patient contradiction fundamentally. Second, social work, as a preventive mechanism in doctor-patient conflicts has system feasibility and technical effectiveness. Thirdly, the social work intervention in the prevention mechanism of doctor-patient contradiction still needs to improve from three aspects:system, technology and ethics.
