Prevention Of Doctor-patient Disputes From The Perspective Of Medical Social Work

In recent years,with the development of social economy,the progress of medical technology and the improvement of living standards,people ’ s demand for medical services is also increasing,hoping that physiological diseases can be treated and psychological and social care.But at present the hospital diagnosis and treatment process is complex,the medical expense burden is high,the medical staff humanities concern insufficiency,the health education popularization does not arrive and so on causes the doctor-patient dispute frequently,affects the hospital normal diagnosis and treatment order,reduces the patient ’s medical treatment satisfaction.Medical social work has the advantages of medicine and sociology.It can use professional knowledge and methods of social work to provide convenient and high-quality services for patients and play an important role in preventing medical disputes.Through literature review,this paper summarizes the current situation and causes of doctor-patient disputes,and uses semi-structured interviews to understand the development of medical social work in some regions of China,such as Shanghai,Beijing,Shenzhen and Shanxi.In practice,starting from the needs of patients,drawing on experience,this paper uses social work methods to explore the path of medical social work to prevent doctor-patient disputes.Through case studies and group social work methods,it provides patients with relief of psychological and emotional pressure,management of hospital volunteer service,link material and economic resources,build a doctor-patient communication platform,and professional services for health education classroom activities.It puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the top-level system design support,increase the propaganda of medical social workers,improve the ability of medical social workers,and link social workers and volunteer services.
