Problems In Boarding Schools Management And Corresponding Strategies

Rural boarding schools management issues is important issues that must be faced andsolved in the process of China’s rural basic education reform and development. With thedevelopment of China’s new rural construction, layout of compulsory education is also tobe adjusted, the rise of rural boarding schools is to adapt to the development trend of thetimes, is the vital interests of the majority of the rural masses, is a effective way to realizethe new rural education effective goal. So the rise and development of rural boardingschools is a product of the times, and how to do a good job of boarding students ofmanagement has become a top priority of the educators’ work, and has become a hot spotfor many scholars. In this paper, five boarding school students of the two districts and onecounty of Jinhua be researched, using the method of questionnaire, literature research andstatistical analysis, survey the area rural boarding schools student management situation, acomprehensive and systematic summary of the countryside various management problemsexist in boarding schools, carefully study the root causes of problems, and proposepractical management measures. The study has some reference value for strengtheningrural boarding school management, improving school management efficiency, andpromoting of the boarding students physical and mental harmonious development.Through the fieldwork and interviews of five boarding schools of two districts andone county of Jinhua, by issuing questionnaires and statistical research results that atpresent China’s rural boarding school management has made great progress andachievements, but, boarding schools still have a lot of the problems, mainly in securitymanagement, accommodation management, food hygiene, education, psychology andmanagement. Aiming at this problem in five areas, the author proposed managementmeasures and recommendations of rural boarding schools. Including:the construction ofrural boarding school system, management team building, construction safety supervisionmechanism, teaching quality monitoring system construction and home-school interactivemechanisms construction.
