Corruptions in education field have appeared for quite a long time. However, publicseldom focus on this problem, especially the corruption in the field of higher education areless concerned. In recent years, the frequency of academic corruptions in China’s highereducation increased quickly, which has damaged the Chinese academic research environment,impacted China’s academic reputation, contused researchers’ creativity and enthusiasm, andeven blocked the healthy development of scientific research severely. As we can see, collegesand universities has gradually become the academic corruption stricken area. The problem ofcorruption in tertiary education has become the central point of the public. Therefore, thecorruption forestalls and punishment affairs have become a key task in the reform anddevelopment of colleges and universities.Due to the variation of policies, cultural background, the level of educationaldevelopment among different countries, different degrees and forms of corruptions haveemerged. It leaded to the practice of countries in higher education corruption variation. Britishhigher education system contains a long history and well-recognized reputation that is veryoutstanding among the world higher education systems. It starts the anti-corruption affairsvery early and has mature experiences. Therefore, through empirical research on theanti-academic corruptions of British education system, this article in order to provide usefulsuggestions for the prevention of academic corruption in china.From the analysis of corruption and other related concepts, this paper summed up theconcept about the corruption, academic corruption, and academic corruption of highereducation system. Then, this paper illustrated the main measures of three dimensions ofBritish system construction, legal construction and cultural establishment measures ofanti-academic corruption system of tertiary education. Also, this paper analyzed theeffectiveness and deficiency and the successful experience and shortcomings of control systemof higher education corruption. Finally, based on the analysis of the anti-academic corruptionof British higher education system, this paper summarized UK’s experiences, put forwardcertain suggestions and specific methods to prevent academic corruption in China’s highereducation system from three aspects: the construction of laws, the construction of academicsystem and the construction of academic culture.
