| The reading of contemporary article is an important part of the College Entrance Exam. Inthis thesis, the literary texts and practical texts, based on the new curriculum standard inHainan province, were considered as the object of study, and analyzed deeply. The differencesof above two texts for the material selection or test were also investigated, since the2007newcurriculum standard came into effect. The reading strategies about literary texts and practicaltexts have been comparatively studied and several suggestions about how to solve two textseffectively are given to students and researchers, in order to make the students improve theirabilities of reading.Firstly, a brief review on the development of contemporary article for the CollegeEntrance Exam after the Cultural Revolution was provided, so that we could understand theimportance of the contemporary article in College Entrance Exam, and then the rules of theliterary texts and practical texts in the new curriculum standard were analyzed briefly.Secondly, we gave a brief classification about questions-design of the literary texts andpractical texts in College Entrance Exam, since the new curriculum standard of Hainan cameinto effect in2007, and illustrated the requirements for the ability level which above two textstried to examine. We discussed the reading strategies of the literary texts and practical texst inthe third chapter, especially described systematically the application of the strategies ofentirety reading and multivariate analysis reading. Finally, we discussed the differences of theliterary texts and practical texts in the reading strategies, and analyzed optimal strategy of thereading, mainly refered to the novel and biography (considered as the example of literaturetext and practical text respectively) of the2007new curriculum standard of Hainanprovinceas. |
