Jing-Island is an abbreviation for three little islands where Jing nationality of south China lives, and it’s a convenient research society sample of kinship and economic behavior studying because its’ characters of the highly coincidence of blood relationship and geographical relationship and clear development phases. Jing-Island’s economical transformation started from mid-1980s includes a big wave of border trade as the pitch point. During the transformation, the relationship of between kinship and economical behavior shows different patterns which transits from the traditional to the modern. In traditional part, the kinship of Jing people actively participates in sorts of economical behavior phases such as marine fishing, border trade and tourist services, and provides experiences, business messages, manpower and provides appropriate division of labor to spread risks; in modernization part, economical behavior of Jing people breaks away from the net of kinship and it produces deep influences on some kinsfolk senses. This paper mainly discusses the roles that people’s kinship took in economical behaviors during the transformation, and base on that, to make the consistency of kinship prominent as the foundation stone of social structural during social transformation, and to illustrate the Inter-Embedded relationship between kinship and economical behavior. From Polanyi to Granovetter, the theories are tested and confirmed by the observation and study on the transformation from the traditional to the modern. The logic connection between kinship and economical behavior on Jing-island is:the island, which an active sense-aggregation that bases on marine fishing, strong family relationships and mental identity, transformed its economical behavior patterns from traditional to modern. The successfully establishment of multi-industry structure made an equal profit sharing for people on the island and timely hold their benefit-aggregation together, through that it promotes a higher development of their sense-aggregation.
