With the deepening of China’s compulsory education reform, thenew junior high school geography curriculum standards for teaching and learninggeography put forward new demands. This study is in response to "changing geographylearning" requirements, the actual teaching and learning process, in strict accordancewith the teaching content of the psychological development of law students to develop avariety of teaching methods suitable. Teachers based on students ’real life experiencesand experiences, changing the traditional single memory, acceptance, imitation andother learning methods, outside to the inside to stimulate students’ interest in learning ofgeography, culture geography learning ability, in the ordinary course of teaching andlearning enable students to gradually understand the function and value of geographicknowledge, the formation of active learning attitude, learning to achieve change. In thisstudy, interest in learning geography studies were reviewed, combined with the authorrelated internship experience, summed up the current lack of interest in learning is dueto the junior high school geography textbooks, the overall quality of teachers anddisciplinary status caused; students also come to learn geography interest from the threeaspects should also be a breakthrough.The study is divided into five geographic junior section discusses interest inlearning culture. The first part is an introduction to analyze the purpose and significanceof the research topics and current research; second part explains the basic theory,including the psychological theory, curriculum and pedagogy constructivist pedagogy;third part is the research process, methods used are literature, questionnaire, and finallyanalyze the survey results, draw students’ interest in learning geography lower becauseof unsuitable teaching methods, teaching facilities imperfect, low status of the three disciplines the main reason. The fifth part of the proposed solution to the problem: First,to establish a new junior high school geography teacher of geography teachingphilosophy, to further enhance the understanding of the interest in learning culture;Second, teachers should take the initiative to improve themselves, to adapt to innovativeeducation, to provide students better learning experience; Third, teachers should beoptimized geography classroom teaching methods adopted flexible teaching model, toattract middle school students’ interest in learning geography; Fourth, by creating a goodclassroom learning environment for students to take the initiative to participate inclassroom process, continue to cultivate students ’interest; five is to actively carry out avariety of extra-curricular activities, to develop middle school students’ interest inlearning geography in order to advance the quality of education to enhance the qualityof teaching geography to promote the development of compulsory education. Finally,the author summarizes the full text, pointing out that people get interested is a force ofknowledge and skills, thinking ability of students is a huge driving force ofdevelopment, can promote students to pursue geographic knowledge, explore themysteries of geographic knowledge. The new standards require geography teachingjunior high school geography teachers to cultivate interest in learning throughout thealways teaching, actively promoting geography into quality education, to enhance thequality of teaching geography to promote the development of compulsory education.
