Research On The Problems Of Sponsorship Model Of Poverty Students At Colleges And Universities

With more and more poor students in colleges and universities, such prominent problem results in various contradictions and social issues becoming increasingly acute. Thus, it is important to conduct the research on how to solve the funding issues of poor college students through evaluating and further improve the current funding mode and its operational efficiency. It is a significant theoretical and realistic research subject urgently facing higher education in China.The paper uses the theories and principles of management, human resource management, pedagogy, psychology, sociology and relevant research instruments, taking Tianjin Radio and TV University (TJRTVU) as an example to fully analyze the basic situations of poor college students and interprets the funding mode and its existing problems and leading causes. The paper also conducts comparative research on the policy and system of funding poor students in colleges and universities. Taking the advance experience from university funding work both at home and abroad, the paper puts forward referential opinions and recommendations on improving the funding mode of TJRTVU through perfecting loan-based sponsorship, enhancing supervision of funding system, expanding the channels for the college students to take a part-time job while studying at college, and propelling the implementation of flexible academic credit system to continuously promote the positive and harmonious development of poor college students.
