| Appreciation education bases on appreciation, trust andencouragement. Through many years’ teaching practice, the authorbelieves that the method is a very suitable education method forsecondary vocational students nowadays. In recent years, due to the tensesource of students, the secondary vocational schools almost “all comesare welcome†in order to ensure the number of students, which leads tothe current situation of students’ weak, uneven foundation. Because mostof these students failed in Mid-term examination or the universityentrance examination, together with the misunderstanding for thevocational education from the society, which leads to their feelings ofinferiority at the beginning of the school life. Besides they have the senseof rejection and disgust on learning, on teachers,because they are oftenconsidered to be "bad student" or "weak student" in the past learningexperience. In fact, the teaching task and target of the secondaryvocational education are different from which in junior high school andsenior high school. Many students, who performed not very well or areconsidered to be "bad student" or "weak student" in the junior middleschool, become pillars in companys after three years’ vocationaleducation. In terms of the employment and development of the secondaryvocational education in recent years, the employment situation is verygood, especially some technically strong majors. Therefore, the secondaryvocational students should fully realize their value and developmentspace in the future.Through the application of the appreciation education in the“employment guidance†course, the paper is intended to make studentsobjectively evaluate themselves and have a deeper understanding of theirfuture employment and development, thus they can make all aspects ofpreparation in advance. Thepaper consists of the following sections:The introduction part summarized the writing reasons, significances,methods and research status, etc.The first part is the overview of appreciation education, summarizedfrom the two aspects, connotation and theoretical basis.The second part analyzes the reasons and necessity of appreciationeducation applied in the “employment guidance†course, from severalaspects, such as students’ physical and psychological characteristics,training objectives and the course characteristics.The third part, the core part of the paper, mainly discusses theapplication measures of the appreciation education applied in the“employment guidance†course, including improving teachers’ insight,establishing a good relationship between teachers and students,improving teachers’ personality charm and professional quality, diversingteaching methods, etc.The fourth part expounds the supporting mechanism of theappreciation education applied in the “employment guidance†course.Although appreciation education is a very good method, the effect is outof the question without the practitioners’ good implementation. Therefore,the supporting mechanism should be strengthened and valued, which isthe premise and foundation to support appreciation education’s betterdevelopment, or it will affect or weaken the implementation effect ofappreciation education. |
