Since the reform and opening up,vocational education has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.From the 18th CPC National Congress to the 19th CPC National Congress,our government has put more weight on vocational education than ever before.Secondary vocational education,from perfecting basic teaching standards to tie up the blending of production and teaching,from improving fundamental instruction capability to promoting coordinated development throughout the country,from planning modern vocational education system to reinforce top design,is the necessary stage in national vocational education system.Secondary vocational education has optimized the human resource structure,laying the cornerstone for products“Made-in-China”,supporting the development of Tertiary Industry,forging the new force in developing modern agriculture,accelerating the shift of rural labors with skills.By doing so,it supplies talents“stayed forever and needed forever”for local places and improves the employment level for the society.In some places,students have realized what so-called“skill changes the life”.So,secondary vocational education is not only the educational position to train skilled personnel needed by the society,but also the foundation for the steady development of our economy.At the same time,we should also note that vocational school graduates are young,psychologically immature,unstable in employment posts,unable to adjust to the employment status,which requires vocational schools to perform better in ideological and political education while establishing and perfecting employment guidance,guiding and helping secondary vocational students to build up right attitudes toward choosing jobs so that they could make the right choice up to their own qualifications and step into the society smoothly,by which to improve the employment level of secondary vocational schools and the social recognition,to promote the sound development of secondary vocational schools,to make secondary vocational students fully employed and to meet the demands for talents.Employment guidance is very important for students for it is related to the prospects of occupation development.On graduating,a large number of secondary vocational school students are at a loss when looking for jobs or being asked career development.Even though they get a job,they don’t know why they want it because they lack sense of belonging.In the past,the secondary vocational school employment guidance,confined to the employment guidance lectures,recruitment information,holding recruitment and resume production,a simple level,do not give guidance and enlightenment from the ideological point of view,which brings no advantage for their future occupation career.Based on the existing ideological and political education of Vocational Students’employment guidance problems,this thesis analyzes the countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of education,to explore the path of vocational guidance in line with the status quo of students’employment,improving the status of vocational students’unhealthy psychology and traditional ideas,improving employment competitive ability,purposely guiding them in choosing jobs,maintaining social stability and alleviating the employment pressure of vocational students and society.This thesis consists of six parts.The first part mainly expounds the background of the study,the significance of the research and the status of the research at home and abroad,and summarizes the methodology and contents;The second part defines the concept of ideological and political education for vocational students,gives a detailed description of the contents of ideological and political education,and summarizes the role of ideological and political education in the employment guidance:incentive function,guidance function,which lays the theoretical foundation for this study;The third part,taking Shuang Liao Secondary Vocational School as an example,investigates and analyzes the employment information obtaining channels,ideals and attitudes,employability and employment thoughts on the employment of secondary vocational school students and finds that many problems lead to the difficulty of employment for secondary vocational school students,of which the main one is that they could not give a full understanding of employment and their own talents;The fourth part analyzes the problems in ideological and political education in the employment guidance for secondary vocational students,and discusses the reasons for the problems;The fifth part,according to the problems existing in the ideological and political education of secondary vocational school students’employment guidance,puts forward some countermeasures aiming at improving the employment guidance effect of secondary vocational school students;The sixth part is the conclusion.
