Leading-in is the beginning of classroom teaching. It takes short time but playsa key role. A good beginning is half done. A teacher’s succeeded in giving full play tostudents’ learning interests and initiative will lay a solid foundation for the nextteaching programs, thereby achieving good teaching effects. Primary school music,one of basic disciplines, must follow the general law of teaching and thus leading-inshall be focused, meticulously arranged and implemented. However, as an artdiscipline at the same time, music also features its particularity. In such a case,teachers shall make proper leading-in design by integrating with the disciplinecharacteristics and the specific educational degrees. In this paper, the author isintended to discuss the leading-in link of music class in primary grades by applyingthe methods such as literature, investigation, case analysis, etc. based on relevantliteratures and teaching cases as well as combining with their teaching practices,aiming to assisting the music teachers in front.This paper in divided in four parts and organized as follows: Part1is theintroduction, which is proceeded by putting forward the issues, significance ofresearch, term definition, object of research and method and literature review aswell; Part2introduces the function and principles of music class leading-in in primarygrades, of which, the questions existed is then analyzed in Part3; Part4is critical tothe paper by discussing the particularity and the implementation method of musicclass leading-in in primary grades.
